Holly Springs High School Welcomes New Head Football Coach Will Orbin

Coach Orbin joins us after a very successful season in the Fall of 2011 at Leesville Road High School.

Coach Orbin is bringing to the program 18 years of High School and Collegiate Football coaching experience.

Coach Orbin is also a Marine Corps veteran where he served in operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Just Cause. He received his Bachelor's Degree from NC State and a post-baccalaureate certification from UGA.

Volunteers Needed - January 28th, 2012

Next Saturday, Jan 28 there is a WCPSS Cheer competition at the school all day and the Hawks Booster Club will be selling concessions. Middle School cheerleaders will be there in the morning and High Schools in the afternoon. We are expecting 2,500-3,000 people throughout the school that day.

Volunteers are requested to help with concessions.

Need the following:

Saturday January 28th at HSHS

2 adults for 8:30-11:30
1-2 adults for 11:30-2:30
1-2 adults for 2:30-5:30

Football Awards Night

Was held Monday night November 14th at the High School.

Many thanks to the players, both Varsity and JV, and their families, for another exciting season of football.

Please see the Awards section from the links above recognizing the players from the 2011 season - most notably the Academic All-Conference Awards.

Special thanks to the players, parents, coaching staff, managers, announcers, Golden Hawks Booster Club, HSHS Athletic Dept. and everyone who helped make this another memorable season!

2011 Senior Night

The rain held off as Holly Springs High School recognized the Seniors on the team. Many whom have played in the area since they were 8 years old. Sorry to see their 10 year football careers in Holly Springs come to an end.

We wish all the Seniors the best in the rest of their high school days and most certainly also beyond the walls of Holly Springs High School.
